Who do we work with?

We have a number of key client profiles and as we have historically worked with other professionals, we look to ensure there is a “joined up” approach to ensuring a client receives a complete picture when working through their financial planning objectives.

Our regulator the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) also wants to ensure we recommend suitable services and products and look to planning firms to define their Target Markets. We therefore have four specific client profiles which cover accumulation of capital, retirement wealth management and legacy estate planning. Full details are below.

Business Owners

By working with other professional service companies we aim to deliver the most cost effective and tax efficient transfer of corporate wealth to personal ownership. This is achieved by adopting a range of planning techniques and reviewing your remuneration strategy.

Equally we look to improve efficiencies in terms of business assurance and keyman cover to ensure the Directors have suitable protection.

Private Clients

Typically we engage with clients with investable assets of £250,000+. We will look to build and manage a portfolio of pensions, ISA accounts and other tax efficient plans in line with an agreed risk mandate and financial planning objectives.

Whether the target is capital accumulation or income generation, we work closely to ensure the objectives are met over the agreed timeframe.


For those clients aiming to mitigate Inheritance Tax and are looking to pass wealth down the generations, we offer specialist investment advice and look to ensure all the simple things such as a Will or appropriate Powers of Attorney are in place.

Professional Firms

Carnelian Capital Management Limited is a Chartered Financial Planning firm and has the same status as an accountancy or legal firm. We have worked closely with a number of firms ensuring, the client is at the centre of the advice.

Importantly we take personal responsibility for our work, but we are more than capable of working as part of an integrated service team to deliver a specific objective to a client. Equally we are more than prepared to share our intellectual capital with like-minded professional firms to attract new clients and discuss appropriate commercial terms with our strategic partners.
